Cradlebase

About

Why Cradlebase exists

When a couple expects their first baby, they face one of the most chaotic consumer decisions of their lives: hundreds of products, all rated 4.7 stars, all labeled “essential,” in a market designed to confuse them. The average family spends 40+ hours researching, $3,000–5,000 buying, and ends up with a room full of things they use three times.

The problem isn't lack of information — it's an excess of badly designed information. Registries show endless catalogs that don't filter by lifestyle. Influencers recommend whatever pays the best commission. “Must-have” lists don't care whether you live in an apartment, take Ubers everywhere, or fly home twice a year.

Cradlebase is the tool we wished existed: the exact products, aggressively curated by parents who used them for two years, adjusted to your real life with three toggles. No quiz, no account, no catalog. The list. Only what you need. Nothing more.

Cradlebase is founded and run by Juan, based in Quito, Ecuador, and built for urban families across the United States and Latin America. The revenue model is affiliate commissions only — no brand can pay to appear on the list, and every recommendation publishes the alternatives we rejected and why.

Questions, corrections, or a product you think survives our four filters? We read everything: hello@cradlebase.com.
