Privacy policy

Cradlebase is designed to need almost nothing from you. There are no accounts, no passwords, and no forced email capture. Your list configuration lives in the URL you create — we don't store it on our servers in this version of the product.

When a gift-giver marks an item as “already gifted” with a first name, that name is stored in the shared link itself, visible to anyone who has the link. Don't use a full name if you'd rather not share it.

We use privacy-focused analytics to understand aggregate usage (pages visited, toggles used) without cookies that track you across the web. Outbound retailer links contain an affiliate tag that tells the retailer the visit came from Cradlebase; retailers' own privacy policies govern what happens on their sites.

If we ever add optional features that require an email address (such as sending yourself an edit link), the address will be used for that single purpose — never for automatic newsletters.
