The City Mini GT2 has been the budget benchmark for a decade for one mechanical reason: forever-air rubber tires on all-wheel suspension that ride like a full-size stroller without the full-size price. It also does the trick almost no budget stroller manages — a genuine one-hand, one-motion flat fold.
The detail that keeps it on the list year after year is durability: it is the stroller most often handed down to a second child in the same family, and its review curve at month 18 holds where cheaper competitors' collapse. Its weak spot is the basket, which is smaller and harder to reach than a Vista's.
